A Remarkable First Ever Year 6 Careers Event at Brocks Hill

We recently hosted our very first Year 6 Careers Event at Brocks Hill Primary.

We were delighted by the response from our parent community, who stepped up to help us organise this special occasion. It truly showcased the incredible teamwork and dedication that makes Brocks Hill so special.

Our Year 6 pupils were the stars of the show, and they made us proud with their enthusiastic participation. They had the unique opportunity to explore and learn about a diverse range of careers, thanks to a fantastic group of speakers who generously shared their knowledge and experiences.

Pupils had the chance to ask questions and gain insight into a wide variety of careers and industries; examples included NHS Midwifery, NHS Carers, IT, architecture, owning your own business, solicitors, HR professionals, housing associations, finance and baking.

Our wonderful speakers were impressed by the curiosity and enthusiasm of the pupils, who asked a range of excellent, probing questions, demonstrating their thirst for knowledge and eagerness to learn. It was also heartwarming to witness how our speakers inspired many of our pupils with their stories and insights.

The event was a remarkable success, and we couldn't have achieved it without the support of our dedicated parent community and the enthusiasm of our pupils. It was an incredible opportunity for our students to explore various career paths and discover their own aspirations.

We look forward to organising more events like this in the future, continuing to inspire our young minds and fostering a community of learning and growth here at Brocks Hill.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and stay tuned for more exciting developments in our school community.
