Brocks Hill Primary School to welcome 210 more pupils as part of exciting expansion

We’re thrilled to announce that Brocks Hill Primary School is growing! Following a successful community consultation in 2024 and subsequent planning approval, our school will expand to meet the increasing demand for primary places in Oadby.

Leicestershire County Council identified a need for additional provision in the area, and Brocks Hill was chosen thanks to the outstanding education and holistic support we provide. This expansion means we’ll move from two classes per year group to three, welcoming 90 pupils into our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) each year.

The growth will begin in 2026, starting with one additional EYFS class. From there, the school will expand organically through EYFS entry, until all year groups have three classes by 2032.

With space already available to accommodate an additional EYFS class in 2026, Lionheart Educational Trust’s Estates Team will now work on school building expansion ready for 2027. Together with Surveyors to Education and a building contractor (to be appointed), the team will deliver a fantastic new two-storey building adjacent to our existing school, to offer pupils a fantastic new educational facility.

We’re excited to welcome more local learners and look forward to seeing our fantastic new building take shape. Watch this space for updates as work begins next year!
