Foundation Stage playground a big hit with pupils!

The Playground project began last academic year when our trusty wooden climbing frame reached the end of its life. Dr Quirk, Miss Stodd and the premises team worked hard to develop a new design for our outdoor space that would offer the children physical and mental challenge, creativity and an opportunity to have lots of fun! The actual installation began in the summer holidays when the area was cleared and the equipment was fitted earlier this month.  The equipment was installed by A. Burgess Ltd and supplied by Durasport Ltd, with the project joint-funded by the Lionheart Educational Trust,  Brocks Hill and Sports Funding.  We are so pleased with this wonderful addition to our Foundation Stage space. In the words of one of our children: "It's so much fun. We can climb, we can slide and we can see high." Foundation Stage truly are the envy of the school!
